2012 Terms and Conditions of Sale
Prices:
- All quoted prices are effective until Nov 1, 2011 until December 31, 2012 and are subject to change without prior notification.
- All prices are quoted in Canadian currency.
Shipping & Handling:
Shipping and handling fees for Scott's Directories products are as follows:
- Shipped by Purolator within Canada: $17.50 per single item / $50 for the 4-volume Ontario Business set (books)
- Shipped by FedEx to the U.S.: $40 per item
- Orders outside Canada and the USA: please call (416) 442-2122, ext. 21 or email sales@scottsdirectories.com
Shipping and handling fees for all other publishers' products (i.e. non-Scott's titles) are quoted individually by product.
Taxes:

All purchases and shipping and handling fees dispatched to any Canadian
location are subject to the appropriate tax as outlined.
- Good and Services Tax (GST) = 5%. Applicable to locations in all provinces (excluding New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland)
- Provincial Sales Tax (PST) = 8%. Applicable to locations in Ontario
- Quebec Sales Tax (QST) = 7.5%. Applicable to locations in Quebec
- Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) = 13%. Applicable to locations in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.

All orders dispatched to the U.S. and foreign territories are exempt from
Canadian taxes.

Payments:
- All new clients must pre-pay.
- All orders for Prospector CDs and Online Accounts must be pre-paid.
- All U.S. and Foreign-bound orders must be pre-paid.
- All other publishers’ products (i.e. non-Scott’s titles) must be pre-paid.
For your convenience we accept cheques, money orders, electronic transfers, VISA, MasterCard and American Express.
Returns / Cancellations:

Scott’s Directories in Book format can be returned to Scott's Directories within thirty (30) days of receipt – our 30-day No Risk
Guarantee. The returned book must be in perfect re-salable condition, otherwise the product will be returned back to the customer and the initial invoice payment terms will be
enforced, including any additional shipping charges incurred during a re-delivery.

Scott’s Directories CD (PinPointer version only) can be returned to Scott's Directories within thirty (30) days of receipt –
our 30-day No Risk Guarantee. Scott’s Directories Profiler and Prospector CD versions are non-returnable.
Note re. Returns:
Upon receipt of a qualified returned Scott’s Directories Book or PinPointer CD, Scott’s Directories will cancel and refund the prepaid invoice in full, with the exception of all shipping & handling charges and their applicable taxes specified for initial shipment from Scott’s Directories to the customer’s ship-to location, as indicated on the invoice.
All return shipping charges remain the responsibility of the customer returning a Scott’s Directories Book or PinPointer CD. Scott’s Directories will not accept a C.O.D. delivery of returned product. - A Scott’s Directories Online PinPointer or Online Profiler account may be cancelled within fifteen (15) days from date of activation. A Scott’s Directories Online Prospector account is non-cancelable.
- All other publishers’ products (i.e. non-Scott’s titles) are non-returnable unless due to defect as determined within the first 30 days of receipt. Upon notification and return to Scott’s Directories, such product will be replaced by the respective publisher as available without additional cost to the customer.
