A survey of Scott's clients indicated each Scott's Directory has an average of 4.3 users and each user refers to their Directory an average of 8.4 times per month. With an approximate annual circulation of 7000, total Scott's product usage is therefore 250,000 per month or 3 million per annum.

Scott's Online subscriptions are 12-month terms, while the average shelf life of each Scott's Directory in Print or CD format is 2 to 4 years. It is therefore estimated that 20,000 to 28,000 Scott's Directories are in regular use at any given time.
